Ukrainian airbourne troops shoot down Russian Mi-8, marines eliminate another helicopter sent to its rescue

Ukrainian airbourne troops together with the marines have destroyed two Russian transport and combat helicopters Mi-8.

Details: The press centre reports that on 21 April, an air defence unit of the 81st separate aeromobile brigade of Ukraine’s Airbourne and Storm Troops destroyed a Russian transport and combat helicopter Mi-8 by shooting it down with a "Stinger" rocket launcher.

Later, another Russian helicopter, potentially sent to evacuate the crew of the shot-down Mi-8, was downed by the Ukrainian marines stationed nearby.
