Russian commander Mezhuyev eliminated, two other high ranking officers wounded

The Ukrainian forces have eliminated the Lt.Colonel of the Russian army Denis Mezhuyev. Two more Russian high-ranking officers from the same division were heavily wounded and had to be taken to Moscow for treatment.

Details: On 13 April, information emerged online that the commander of the first motorised regiment of the second motorised division, first tank army of Russia’s Western Military District Lt.Colonel Denis Mezhuyev was killed in Ukraine. Some media named 11 April as the date of his death.
On 21 April, during its evening meeting, the General Staff of Ukraine confirmed that Mezhuyev was killed, however, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have not provided any further details.

Moreover, two representatives of the leadership of the same detachment, Colonel Kharitonov and Lt.Colonel Smirnov, were heavily wounded and are currently undergoing treatment in Moscow."
