According to Kyslytsya: "The Moscow führer’s position was announced a few hours ago during the Security Council meeting."
Details: The Russian representative stated that "The calls for peace and for a ceasefire ring hollow and untrue under the present circumstances."
According to him, a truce is only an attempt "to give Kyiv nationalists and radicals a break so that they can regroup."
He also said that he will not let the Ukrainian side "carry out new, inhumane provocations and share fakes about the actions of Russian soldiers."
Background: Ukraine supported the UN Secretary-General’s initiative to institute a 4-day Easter "humanitarian truce" in Ukraine.
