Armed Forces of Ukraine terminated two aggressors’ observation post and killed 34 occupiers - Operational Command “Pivden”

The Ukrainian army terminated two hidden aggressors’ observation posts, killed 34 invaders and destroyed 7 units of military equipment at the southern borders of the line of defence.

"In the Kherson region, the aggressors intensified preparations for the referendum. The date they will imitate the will of the people was postponed to April 27. [Russian occupying forces], as always, ignore all laws and regulations in their attempt to speed up the legalisation of the occupying power."

"The fact that the referendum is scheduled for the middle of the week, on a working day, further emphasises that the will of the local population is not of any interest to the invaders, and the result is already known in the prepared scenario."

Details: The settlements of the Kherson region are under constant fire. The aggressors tried to continue the assault near Oleksandrivka, but failed.

In settlements in the Mykolaiv region near the administrative border with the Kherson region, the aggressors are forcing the local population to elect a new local government loyal to the invaders by fake voting at gunpoint.

Meanwhile the aggressors continue artillery strikes on residential quarters and civilians in Mykolaiv and the surrounding area.

At the same time, Russian forces are attempting to conduct air reconnaissance with the help of an "Orlan-10" UAV, but Ukrainian units met the reconnaissance drone with accurate small-arms fire and terminated it.

The total losses of the aggressors at the southern border of our defence amounted to 34 invaders and 7 units of military equipment, including a tank, a self-propelled howitzer "Msta-C", multiple rocket launcher, and other armoured, automotive, and engineering equipment.

The aggressors’ naval group in the Black Sea has not changed in number or tactics.

"The situation in Transnistria regarding the training or relocation of troops is being constantly monitored and kept under control," Operational Command "Pivden" said.
