Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council Oleksii Danilov said that the Russian army’s great offensive on the Eastern Front has not yet begun, but it is only a matter of time before it does.

Details: On the morning of 19 April, battles began all along the front line in the Donetsk, Luhansk and Kharkiv regions, but they were "pilot" versions, according to Oleksii Danilov.
Quote: "However, it was an attempt [to check] the strength of our Armed Forces. The attempt failed. Therefore, they will continue these attempts. It's only a matter of time before the so-called great offensive begins.
I would like to note that when people say this will be the last and the decisive battle [in Donbas - ed.], I would not be so optimistic. Many different things lie ahead of us: this will not be the last battle."
Details: According to Danilov, Russia could still bring in new resources and reserves in significant quantities in two to four weeks. By no means should anyone underestimate the strength of the aggressor: "It’s a big country, a lot of people, not so much intelligence. They [people to recruit - ed.] are still there. In addition, we have recently noticed that Libyans and Syrians are appearing at the front - so-called mercenaries. That's why it's quite difficult to say when they (the manpower - ed.) will run out."
Background:
During the last week, Russia has drawn 17 battalion tactical groups into Ukraine. Three of these groups were sent to Donbas. In total, there are currently 82 Russian battalion tactical groups in Ukraine.
