Quote by acting Berdyansk Mayor Oleksandr Svidlo: "Representatives of the Russian Federation came to our community halls and demanded that concerts be held dedicated to 9 May. They illegally appointed their director."

Details: Svidlo added that such actions of the occupiers outraged people.

In addition to interfering in the work of cultural institutions, according to the acting mayor, Russian occupiers are making fake statements and insisting on collaboration by the locals.

Previously:

In early April, traitor Halyna Danylchenko, who calls herself the mayor of occupied Melitopol, said she was preparing to hold an extensive celebration of World War Two Victory Day this year.

Russian occupiers are also preparing to hold a "victory carnival" on 9 May in Mariupol.
