According to Vereshchuk: "There will be a humanitarian corridor from Mariupol today, on 20 April 2022. Given the humanitarian crisis in Mariupol, today we will focus our efforts on this route.
We managed to reach a preliminary agreement about a humanitarian corridor for women, children, and the elderly. The Mariupol assembly point will be at the corner of Tahanrogh Street and the 130th Tahanroh Division, at 14:00.
The convoy will move along the following route: Mariupol - Manhush - Berdiansk - Tokmak - Orikhiv - Zaporizhzhia."
Details: Vereshchuk warned that the security situation is difficult, so there might be changes to this.
She asked Mariupol residents to follow official announcements.
"We are making every effort to ensure everything works as it should," the Minister added.
Background: There have been no humanitarian corridors anywhere in Ukraine in the last 3 days. People have not been allowed to evacuate from Mariupol since 11 April.
