Zelenskyy: Nobody will give us peace. We have to fight for it

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that no one would give Ukrainians peace - we have to win it in battle. The president added that it was useless to hope that the enemy would simply leave.

Quote: "Another day of our defence has passed. Another one of many which brings us closer to peace, step by step, hard, but steadily. To a peace that no one will give us. We have to realise this very clearly. Because there is nothing in the world that can stop wars and give peace.
The global security architecture has failed. Peace for us will not be the result of any decisions of the enemy somewhere in Moscow. We should not cherish empty hopes that they will simply leave our land.
We can only win peace. We can win it in hard battles, in the parallel actions of negotiations and daily vigorous work."
Details: According to the president, when people defend themselves in a war of annihilation, when it is a matter of life and death for millions, there are no unimportant things: "And everyone can contribute to the victory of all. Some with weapons in their hands. Some at work. And some with a kind word and help at the right time."
