According to Synehubov: "Shelling started again in the morning. It is not the first time Russians deployed Grads [multiple missile launchers] in Maxim Gorky Park. It’s one of the favourite recreational places for many Kharkiv residents. Unfortunately, one person has been wounded – the man was hospitalised and is currently receiving medical assistance."
Details: The City Council notes that the shelling took place when there were people working in the park. The 57-year-old groundskeeper was wounded and hospitalised.
Several of the park attractions were severely damaged.
Some of the park’s oldest trees have also been damaged and broken, as well as one of the stages, several cafes, and park benches.
