Quote: "Since the beginning of Russia's invasion of Ukraine our operation has managed to prevent or neutralise more than 120 co-ordinated cyber-attacks on either government or military Ukrainian resources.

The greatest number of these occurred on the night of the invasion, where the enemy hoped to disrupt Ukraine's entire digital infrastructure. However effective collaboration between the Ukrainian Defence Forces and other cyber-security organisations stopped the aggressor from securing dominance over our cyberspace and its assets"

Details: According to Dechterenko, the SBU cadre have prevented all attempts to paralyse strategically important Ukrainian digital resources, and the use of the Ukrainian internet for spreading pro-Russian propaganda.

They have also been able to prevent hijacking attempts on critical infrastructure, internet service providers and media channels.

We are being informed that alternative digital platforms were already established for uninterrupted information exchange and communication between all major institutions that might come under further cyber attacks.

Additionally, the SBU has begun an investigation to identify and bring to court all organisers and participants in organised efforts of disruptive actions and attacks against Ukraine's digital infrastructure.

Based on preliminary information, the organisation of hostile cyber actions was handled by the special operations services of the Russian Federation, including members of the FSB and Russian military intelligence.

Quote:  "We know without a doubt that these actions were carried out by specialised hacker collectives affiliated with the Ruscists. To our knowledge these are APT28, APT29, Sandworm, BerserkBear,Gamerdon,Vermin and others.  Currently, the SBU is working in an intensified round-the-clock mode. Our investigators are tightening the ring around these criminals to bring them to justice"
