After residents of the city of Enerhodar in the Zaporozhzhia Oblast gathered for a rally on April 2, the Russian aggressors resorted to grenade explosions and shelling. Some people were wounded and others detained.

On Saturday morning, city residents gathered for a peaceful rally in support of Ukraine. They were singing the national anthem and talking to each other as the aggressors looked on.
When the Enerhodar residents began to disperse, enclosed trucks approached, in which the invaders began to "pack" the locals.
Within minutes, the city was shaken by the sounds of explosions and massive shelling. Terrified Enerhodar citizens began to flee in different directions. Car alarms were triggered by the blast streets away. It is already known that several citizens were hospitalised with injuries and severe burns due to a series of explosions and mortar attacks by the aggressors in the area of the "Suchasnyk"House of Culture.
At the same time, it is reported that the aggressor has begun to shut down communications networks in Enerhodar. Wired Internet has disappeared and phone calls are also impossible.
