Quote: "Since the beginning of the war, 274 hospitals have been shelled, 13 have been completely destroyed and cannot be rebuilt. We shall build new hospitals. 70 ambulances have already been put out of action by shelling, machine gun fire and mines. Six medical workers have been killed. These are all  consequences of the war, the terrorist actions of the Russian Federation in Ukraine.

At the same time, medical facilities are working. Anyone who needs medical care can access it. The medical insurance programme was paid in full to health care facilities in March. This shows that both the salaries of medical workers and the necessary medical products and medicines have been provided for."

Details: According to Lyashko, pharmacies have resumed their operation where feasible.

Quote: "Manufacturers assure us that there are no grounds for a price increase in March. We will review this in April, because there are gas prices issues and there are logistics issues. We will monitor and control [the situation - ed.] to prevent an increase in prices for medical products that are on the national list of medicines. These are medical products used most often to prevent diseases or their further development."
