This is the number of houses that have been damaged or completely destroyed in the Luhansk region over the course of yesterday [18 April].
Kreminna saw the most destruction yesterday. 2 houses have been razed to the ground after being hit directly by Russian shells. 4 more caught on fire – though the fires have been extinguished, it is unclear whether anyone will be able to live in those houses again.
The enemy is shelling high-rise apartment buildings with full knowledge that there are people there."
Details: In Rubizhne, Russian shells hit an apartment whose owner received multiple shrapnel wounds but was rescued.
2 more buildings were completely destroyed on 18 April in Rubizhne, "where there’s almost nothing left anymore."
Three buildings were destroyed in Lysychansk.
A civilian car came under fire near Sievierodonetsk. Rescue workers managed to tow it to a safe place and evacuate the passengers.
