The shelling that took place on the morning of Monday, 18 April killed 3 civilians and wounded 15 more.

According to Syniehubov: "The Russians have shelled the Osnovianskyi and Nemyshlianskyi neighbourhoods [of Kharkiv], as well as the centre of the city. Shells were falling right by residential houses, on playgrounds and near the centres for humanitarian aid distribution. 3 people were killed, 15 wounded, including a 14-year-old child."

Details: Syniehubov also noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are winning many battles against the Russian army, including on the contested Izyum front.

Syniehubov continued: "Fighting continues, so we can’t yet reveal everything that’s going on.

But, to give you an example, today the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down an enemy plane over Balakliia. As fighting continues, we are evacuating the residents of Lozova and Barvinkove. 54,000 people have already left."
