According to Haidai: "Last night rescuers could still work there, but in the morning, when the dangerous ‘Russian peace’ edged closer, they were already not able to. Still, they managed to contain the fire at the Olimp sports complex that spread over 2,400 square metres, preventing the nearby pine forest from catching on fire.

Four people were killed in Kreminna during an evacuation attempt. Russians shot at their car point blank. An ambulance set out to pick up the fifth passenger, who was injured, but it came under enemy fire as well."

Details: According to Haidai, on 18 April the Russian army also continued shelling Rubizhne and Lysychansk, damaging several residential buildings there. 4 civilians were rescued from under the rubble, and 1 person was injured.

The building of the Regional Patrol Police Headquarters in Lysychansk was destroyed: 6 staff members were hospitalised with contusions.
