Kharkiv region: 9 people killed by Russian shelling in one day

On 17 April, 9 civilians were killed and 25 others were injured in Russian shelling of the Kharkiv.

Details: In particular, as a result of the Russian shelling of residential areas in the centre of Kharkiv, 6 people were killed and 24 were injured.
In the Derhachi community, 2 people were killed and 1 was injured as a result of Russian shelling.
Russian forces also fired on the Zolochiv community, killing one person.
Background: On 17 April, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov, said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated Bazaliyivka, Lebyazhe, and part of Kutuzivka in a counteroffensive operation. Ukrainian units advanced further east near the village of Mala Rohan.
