Quote: "Unfortunately, today, 18 April, there will be no humanitarian corridors."
Details: According to the Minister, long and difficult talks were held the day before on the corridors from Mariupol, Berdiansk, Tokmak, Enerhodar. They also worked on corridors from the Kherson region (Novovorontsovka, Osokorivka, Myroliubivka, Novovoznesenske, Vysokopillia). Of course, negotiations were also held on corridors from the cities of Luhansk region: Sievierodonetsk, Lysychansk, Rubizhne, Popasna and Nyzhne.
However, in violation of international humanitarian law, the Russian occupiers do not stop blocking and shelling humanitarian routes, Vereshchuk said.
Therefore, for security reasons, it has been decided not to open humanitarian corridors on Monday.
The Minister added that the authorities would do their best to have the humanitarian corridors working again as soon as possible.
