Luhansk region: 2 people killed in Russian shelling, Olimp sports complex on fire

Russian troops shelled the town of Zolote in the Luhansk region, killing at least 2 and wounding 4 more.

Details: Russian troops also attacked the recently rebuilt Olimp [Olympus] sports complex in Kreminna, where the Ukrainian olympic team used to train. Rescue workers are trying to contain the fire, which spread over an area of 2,400 square metres. There is a forest near to the site of the fire.
Artillery shelling of Kreminna continued throughout the night, becoming more frequent and more intensive. Seven residential buildings caught fire, as did farm buildings and the branches, foliage, and grass undergrowth of a forest.
Residential buildings were also under attack in Rubizhne: 7 local residents were rescued from underneath the rubble of 3 buildings; 2 people with injuries were hospitalised in Sievierodonetsk.
Several houses have also been damaged in Zolote.
Two houses caught fire in the village of Komyshuvakha in the Popasna territorial hromada.
Overall, at least 15 residential buildings caught fire in the region.
