Verbatim: "The Christian world is celebrating Easter, one of the most important religious holidays. And the Russian aggressors continue to bomb peaceful Ukrainian cities and fire missiles and artillery at them, bringing grief, death and destruction.
These war crimes are primarily committed in territories that are partially controlled by the enemy. We are talking about the East and South of Ukraine, where the Ruscists have entrenched themselves and significantly increased their air defence capabilities.
However, even there, soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are inflicting significant losses on the aggressors both on the ground and in the air."
Details: On 17 April, Air Defence units of the Air Force and the Land Forces destroyed five air targets:
1 aircraft (fighter type "SU");
3 helicopters (two Mi-24 and one Ka-52);
1 UAV short-range attack missile ("Orlan-10").
It is noted that Air Force fighters continue to patrol the airspace and provide air cover for troops, and strike aircraft continues to launch missile and bomb strikes on the positions of the occupying forces.
