Ukrainian troops shot down Russian helicopters, destroyed 10 Russian tanks and 15 units of armoured equipment in eastern Ukraine

On Sunday, 17 April Ukrainian troops repulsed 12 Russian attacks, destroyed 10 tanks, 5 artillery systems, 15 units of armoured and 5 of automotive equipment, and shot down 2 helicopters on the Donetsk and Luhansk fronts.

According to the Joint Forces Operation: "Ukraine’s defenders destroyed 10 tanks, 5 artillery systems, 15 units of armoured and 5 units of automotive equipment of the enemy.
Units of Air Defence Forces shot down 2 Mi-24 helicopters in the sky over the Ukrainian-controlled part of Donbas, as well as one Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicle."
Details: Over the course of the past week, Ukrainian Joint Forces troops repulsed 58 Russian attacks, destroyed 37 tanks, 24 artillery systems, 61 units of armoured and 51 units of automotive equipment, 5 helicopters, 17 UAVs, and 2 cruise missiles.
