Kyiv City Military Administration is preparing for all possible scenarios, including another attempt to capture Kyiv by the Russian troops.

According to Zhyrnov: "Despite suffering losses, the Russian Federation has a lot of [military] resources, both personnel and equipment. We understand that in order to prepare [for another attack], the enemy needs time. But we are also aware that Russia has not given up its goal to capture both the capital and the entire territory of Ukraine.
The enemy is currently replenishing its losses, gathering resources and fixing equipment, getting it ready for use. We are aware of this and are therefore preparing for all possible scenarios, including the worst – a new attempt to capture Kyiv."
Details: Head of the Kyiv Military Administration also said that it will only be safe for vulnerable populations to return to Kyiv after the end of the war.
According to Zhyrnov: "Though we understand that Kyiv has to go on living as both political and economic centre [of Ukraine], and that some of the city’s residents have to return there, we are urging women, children, and the elderly who have places where they can stay outside of Kyiv to refrain from returning as the threat of air and missile strikes remains, and so does the threat of the enemy’s sabotage and reconnaissance activity. And overall, the enemy has not given up its goal to capture the capital.
The main condition for a safe return to Kyiv is the end of the war. In any other case, even the deescalation of military activity is associated with the threats I just outlined."
Earlier: Vitaliy Klychko, Mayor of Kyiv, considers it possible that Russian troops will attempt to capture the capital again.
