Quote: "The occupiers continue to issue special passes to move within the city. In fact, such a pass is issued in one place – Building 114, 130th Taganrog Division Street, the premises of the Livoberezhnyi Tax Administration.

Hundreds of citizens have to stand in line to get a pass, without which it will be impossible from next week not only to move between districts of the city, but also to be on the streets.

There is information that it is done not only for "filtration" activities, but also to prepare for the issuing of passports to those who remained. We are clarifying this."

Details: The mayor's adviser said that the occupiers had announced that they would "provide a corridor to surrender" since Saturday evening, but Ukrainian soldiers are continuing with their defence.

"Despite the occupiers wanting to highlight that the place of hostilities is limited to the "Azovstal" plant, this is not true. Last night fighting took place on Taganrog Street, which is located 5 kilometres from "Azovstal"," he said.

According to Andriushchenko, during the fighting, the occupiers fired heavy artillery again at private sector buildings. The houses in the area of the Mariupol Professional Lyceum of Motor Transport were damaged the most.

The Russian occupying forces continued the shelling of the port area in an attempt to storm it.

Andriushchenko called on Mariupol residents to avoid danger zones and not to wear ribbons on their sleeves.

"Humanitarian aid, which is so widely advertised by the occupiers, actually consists of a loaf of bread and a bottle of water a day. They give it out in the headquarters of  "Yedinaya Rossiya" party ["United Russia" party], but there is a catastrophic lack.

The Russian invaders do not allow any humanitarian aid from Ukraine or international organisations into the city.

The critical situation is deteriorating in terms of health safety. Lack of doctors, hospitals and medicines create an additional risk to life. Seasonal illnesses, the effects of damp basements, unsanitary conditions and chronic illnesses are all gaining momentum and people can receive neither counselling nor treatment."

Details: Andriushchenko also said that the former businesswoman Yuliia Musiienko has joined collaborators. She has voluntarily decided to head the "Humanitarian Headquarters of "Yedinaya Rossiya"" ["United Russia" party] in the Livoberezhnyi district of the city.

At the same time, according to the mayor's adviser, the "Gauleiter" Ivashchenko only ever appears in the city with security, he is not in the city on his own." His permanent lcoation is being established.

[On 4 April, members of the Opposition Party – For Life (OPFL) gathered in School No. 53 in Mariupol and "elected" Kostyantyn Ivashchenko, a Russian agent, as the "head" of Mariupol].
