Quote: "They have had such plans for a long time, but the Ukrainian Armed Forces are not giving them the opportunity to implement it. They are ready, they are accumulating forces, people, medical infrastructure, ammunition and food. They have learnt that their soldiers were starving here (Russia allegedly sent them for 2-3 days)…
They have been preparing all this, but they are not able to start this second aggressive stage, because the Ukrainian Armed Forces are robustly holding them back."
Background: After the withdrawal of Russian troops from the northern part of Ukraine, intelligence and analysts predicted that the Russians would transfer the main units for a massive offensive in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Currently, the Russian occupying forces are regrouping and fighting actively in eastern Ukraine, but are being repulsed by the Ukrainian Defence Forces.
