More explosions on the outskirts of Kyiv

Russian troops shelled Kyiv in the early morning of 16 April; explosions could be heard in the Darnytsia neighbourhood on the outskirts of the city.

According to Klychko: "Kyiv was shelled in the early morning. Explosions were heard in the Darnytsia neighbourhood on the outskirts of the city. Rescue workers and medics are working at the scene. Information about victims and casualties is being confirmed."

Details: Mayor Klychko urged Kyiv residents not to ignore air raid sirens.

He also asked those who left Kyiv earlier and were planning to return to the capital to refrain from doing so and remain in safer places.
