According to the General Staff: "Over the course of today [15 April] the situation has not changed significantly on all fronts. The enemy continues to carry out missile strikes on industrial and civilian infrastructure in Ukraine and is trying to launch an offensive in some areas.

Airstrikes on the city of Mariupol continue. As does the partial blockade of Kharkiv.

On the Donetsk front, the enemy tried to storm Maryinka, but was unsuccessful."

Details: The General Staff stressed that the Russian occupiers in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine continue to infringe the rights of Ukrainian citizens in violation of international humanitarian law. In particular, Russian sabotage and reconnaissance groups are stealing cars and civilian clothing from locals or taking them by threatening physical violence.

The occupying troops are also conducting "filtering" activities and searching for people who had any previous involvement in military service.

In the temporarily occupied areas of the Luhansk region, Russian troops are setting up field hospitals and weapons and ammunition depots on school premises, and stationing their military equipment in the outside areas of educational establishments.

In some towns and villages, Russian troops are trying to simulate elections and illegally appoint "local governments" from among local residents who are loyal to the occupying power.

The General Staff stressed that units of the Defence Forces of Ukraine continue to maintain their lines of defence, to inflict losses on the Russian army, and to gradually liberate Ukrainian towns and villages from the Russian occupiers.
