Quote: "Today I am in a very good mood, because today the first train bringing humanitarian aid has arrived at Chernihiv station. This is aid provided to the Chernihiv region by the state. This is a small part of it."
Details: Chaus said that a few weeks ago, "we were quietly hauling boxes (across the River Desna) at 5 am, and the military, working with the State Emergency Service and border guards, were trying to provide the city with everything needed", and that volunteers had been transporting essential cargo for the city in rubber dinghies.
Background:
On 16 April, Ukrzaliznytsia will restore the railway connection with the now-unblocked Chernihiv and a number of settlements in the region.
