Russian troops shelled border towns in Sumy region

For the first time in 10 days Russian troops opened fire on border towns in the Sumy region from the territory of the Russian Federation.

According to Zhyvytskyi: "Several hours ago some of the border towns in the Sumy region were shelled with artillery or mortars.
120-mm mines were dropped and private houses were damaged. One mine destroyed a private house: it entered straight into the people’s home.
This is the first serious provocation the Russian Federation has carried out in the last 10 days, firing on our border towns from their territory."
Details: On his Telegram channel Zhyvytskyi said that Russian troops shelled the town of Velyka Pysarivka.
Background: On 11 April Andriy Demchenko, spokesman for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, said that Russian military equipment remains near the Ukrainian border, in particular in the Sumy region.
