Ukraine’s Intelligence has gained access to order outlining Russia’s plan to capture Kyiv

The Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine says that Russia was planning to capture Kyiv under the guise of strategic military exercises.

According to the Directorate: "Documents obtained by Ukraine’s military intelligence testify to the intentions of the occupiers to capture the capital of Ukraine.
In particular, the Centre group of Russian troops, which was operating on the Chernihiv and Sumy fronts, was given an order to capture the left bank of Kyiv."
Details: This is stated in a combat order issued to the commander of the 96th Separate Reconnaissance Brigade from the headquarters of the 1st Tank Army of the Western Military District on the eve of the war. He received the order and an accompanying map on the evening of 23 February.
The 8-page document defines the stages of the offensive and the tasks for the brigade personnel.
According to the order, "the most dangerous group is deployed on the Chernihiv front."
