On the Slobozhanschyna front, Kharkiv is partially blocked by the aggressors. Russian armed forces continue to destroy the city's infrastructure with artillery due to their failure to seize the city.

On the Volyn, Polissya and Siverschyna fronts, the aggressors’ units were not active. The Russian aggressors are relocating individual units in certain directions.

On the Southern Buh front, the aggressors are conducting air reconnaissance in order to detect units of Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The General Staff also reports that separate units of the 103rd, 109th, 113th, 113th, 125th and 127th Motorised Rifle Regiments have joined other troops and are participating  in combat operations in certain parts of the south-eastern oblasts of Ukraine. They had been recruited during the forced mobilisation of men in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts.

Structurally, these regiments are composed of up to 5 battalions with about 300 soldiers in each of them. At the same time, only 5-10% of the personnel have combat experience. Regiment management consists of officers of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. These groups have significant problems with the provision of weapons, ammunition and medicine.

Previously, on April 12, General Staff announced that Russian troops were completing essential manoeuvres and movement of their key divisions before commencing a major assault on the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
