On 13 April,120,000 inhabitants were still in the city of Mariupol, under blockade by the Russian invaders.

Details: According to the Mayor, about 60,000 more people, living in the settlements around Mariupol, are also waiting for evacuation,
Pavlo Kyrylenko, the Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration, said that according to preliminary estimates, between 20,000 and 22,000 people may have died in Mariupol.
Background: From 1 March, Mariupol has been blockaded by the Russian occupiers, who have caused a humanitarian catastrophe in the city and commited genocide. For now, the blockade against Mariupol cannot be lifted and it is difficult to provide any assistance to the Ukrainian army there.
