There are more than 1,500 unclaimed bodies of Russian soldiers in the Dnipro morgue – the deputy mayor

Deputy Mayor of Dnipro Mykhailo Lysenko called on Russian mothers to take away the bodies of more than 1,500 Russian soldiers killed in Ukraine.

Quote: "There are now more than one and a half thousand dead Russian soldiers in the Dnipro morgue, whom no one wants to take away. They are lying in refrigerators.

We hope that some of the Russian mothers will be able to come and pick up their sons, whom they raised all their lives. We already have four refrigerators full of bodies of Russian soldiers. No matter what, these are someone's children.

They were raised by their mothers, they loved them, they took them to school on the first of September [first day of school in Russia]. We will organise all this, if only they take away the bodies of their sons."
