Russian troops have withdrawn about 20% of their units from Kyiv.
Source: Mykola Zhyrnov, Head of Kyiv Military Administration, on Telegram.
Quote: "The enemy has withdrawn about 20% of its units from the capital."
Details: According to Zhyrnov, the Russian forces have not achieved their goals on any front.
However, Russian troops continue missile strikes on Ukrainian positions and infrastructure in the city, so the threat to the civilian population remains.
Background: On the morning of 1 April, British intelligence reported that Ukrainian troops continue to conduct successful but limited counterattacks to the East and North East of Kyiv.
At the same time, a senior Pentagon official, commenting on Thursday on the withdrawal of Russian forces to positions North and East of the Ukrainian capital, said that Kyiv remained in danger and airstrikes continued.
