Sumy airstrikes: 22 killed, another child retrieved from rubble dead

The death toll from the Russian forces’ airstrikes in the evening and throughout the night on 7 March in Sumy reached 22 as the rescuers retrieved a boy’s body from the rubble.

According to Zhyvytskyy: "This incident can rightfully be called a massacre, as one bomb took the lives of 22 people. Russian troops executed an airstrike on Sumy’s residential neighbourhood.
Among the 22 killed, 3 are children. At first, only 2 children’s deaths were reported but today rescuers retrieved the body of another boy from the rubble.
They are all from the same family."
Details: The bomb hit a private house on Romenska Street and razed it to the ground. There were 9 people in the house, all of whom died.
Six more houses were completely destroyed.
Around twenty neighbouring houses were also partly destroyed.
In addition to those killed, 8 people were wounded, a 5-year-old girl among them.
Background: The airstrike in Sumy killed Artem Pryymenko, Ukraine’s Sambo champion, and his entire family.
