Russian aggressors disable 61 hospitals during the war
Russian troops have disabled 61 hospitals in Ukraine during 13 days of the war. Windows, walls and medical equipment have been damaged.
Several hospitals have already been repaired, said Viktor Liashko, Ukraine's Minister of Healthcare, on TV.
"Terrorists from the aggressor country disabled 61 of our hospitals. But thanks to the intensive work of different services, many of these hospitals continue to work," Liashko said.
According to Liashko, Russian forces have completely destroyed a new emergency department in Izyum.
"This violates all conventions, particularly the Geneva Convention. It is forbidden to shell hospitals during hostilities. It is complicated to deliver medicines to occupied territories. The aggressor does not allow us to do it," the Minister emphasised.
Liashko said that most of the pharmacies in Ukraine are working again, and drug prices are under control.
