Russian airstrike kills 7 adults and 2 children in Sumy

An airstrike on the city of Sumy executed last night by Russian troops killed at least 9 people, 2 of them children.

Details: The attack took place late in the evening on 7 March. Russian troops struck a residential neighbourhood.
Rescuers arrived at the scene after 23:00 to clear away the debris from the destroyed structures of the houses and to put out the fire.
They managed to release an injured woman from under the rubble; she was taken care of by the medics. The bodies of the dead were also retrieved from the rubble.
Background: At about 23:00 on 7 March, the enemy dropped bombs on the city of Sumy and the Sumy region from the air, and opened fire on Okhtyrka.
