According to the Ministry of Defence: "The enemy continues the offensive operation, but the troops’ advance has slowed down significantly.
In the territories of Kherson and Mykolayiv regions, which are temporarily occupied by the enemy, the occupiers have been deploying psychological warfare to influence the local population since 24 February 2022.
According to available information, up to 10 tactical groups of psychological warfare have been created and tasked with conducting propaganda work with the local population.
The occupiers are threatening the population of the northern part of the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea with the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In addition, Russia’s Federal Security Service is setting up task forces there to work with the population, in particular to uncover any resistance."
Details: The Defence Forces Group is continuing to conduct a defence operation on the Southern, Eastern, and Northern fronts.
The heroic defence of the city of Chernihiv continues on the Siversk front.
Kyiv defence forces continue to defend the capital along the outer line of defence and in additional areas.
On the Southern front the defensive operation along the state border is ongoing and the Black Sea coast is being protected. Defence battles are being conducted on the outskirts of Mykolayiv.
On other fronts, a stabilisation operation is underway and territorial defence tasks are being carried out in designated operational zones.
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continues to successfully fend off missile and air strikes and provide air cover for critical elements of Ukrainian infrastructure and for Ukrainian troops.
The occupiers are demoralised and more and more often resort to looting and violating the rules of international humanitarian law on military conflict.
In the Kharkiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, and Kyiv regions, in the territories temporarily occupied by the Russian troops, there have been many instances of robberies, violence against the local residents, seizure of civilians’ houses, use of barns to park military equipment, setting up firing positions in highly populated areas and at elements of civil infrastructure.
