Borzov's quote: "Today was the longest –three-hour– air alarm. This is due to the fact that Russia is using heavy bombers Tu-95 and TU-160, which launch cruise missiles from the air."

Details: In the afternoon on 7 March, the air alarm turned on at about 2:48 p.m., and turned off only at 5:54 p.m. That is, the alarm lasted a total of 3 hours and 6 minutes.

The long-lasting air alarm was reported in the afternoon in Kyiv, Bila Tserkva, Vasylkiv, and Zhytomyr.

Eyewitnesses posted videos on social networks with cruise missiles moving in a northerly direction at low altitudes.

For the information: The TU-95 is a strategic missile bomber first built by Soviet engineers in the 1950s. It was designed during the Cold War to defeat enemy targets in the rear in any weather and at any time of day.

The TU-160 is a supersonic strategic bomber in Russian military service. According to some experts, it is the most powerful supersonic combat aircraft in the world. According to open data, Russia has at least 16 such aircrafts.
