Russian forces strike a military base in Mykolaiv region where Ukrainian defenders were sleeping: casualties reported

Vitaliy Kim, Head of Mykolaiv Regional State Administration has announced that a Russian Kalibr cruise missile hit a military base where Ukrainian soldiers were sleeping.

Quote: "The bastards attacked our city at 5.15 am. Dishonourably and cynically, when people were asleep. A Kalibr cruise missile hit the 79th Brigade where soldiers were peacefully sleeping in their dorms.
‘The count at the end of the day is eight dead, eight missing, 19 wounded. Information about civilian casualties is being verified ".
Details: Regarding the fighting, Mr. Kim said that Ukrainian artillery forces heroically repelled the attack on the city. Occupying forces attacked from three directions.
The Head of Mykolaiv Regional State Administration added that the occupying forces had an order to seize Mykolaiv by any means.
Later Mr. Kim added that the occupiers have serious problems with fuel, and that they guard [it] with three vehicles. He called upon Ukrainians to prevent them from sleeping so that they can’t recover their strength.
According to Mr. Kim, Ukrainian artillery has repelled two attacks in the region, after which the occupiers became confused and fled.
