Casualties in battle near Sumy

Fighting took place near Sumy on Sunday and Monday, resulting in casualties.

Zhyvytskyy did not provide details about the battle.

Bombing of the city of Lebedyn on 5 March destroyed an electric substation, the Lebedyn bread factory, and a gas station.

Windows in some houses shattered as a result of the bombing.

According to Zhyvytskyy’s report, the city’s electricity supply has only been partially restored. In several villages and towns of the Lebedyn district, there has been no power for three days now.

Oblenergo [regional electricity supplier] emergency crews are at work in the city.
