Russian troops destroy 19th-century church near Zhytomyr, fire at house of prayer in Kharkiv

In Vyazivka village near Zhytomyr, Russian troops have destroyed the Holy Mother of God Church built in 1862.

Rutkovska said: "The church is wooden. It was part of the national architectural heritage, protection order No.108. This is a genocide of the Ukrainian nation, this conscious destruction of our history by the enemy."
Details: Similarly, it was reported that the Russian troops had fired at a house of prayer belonging to the Evangelical Baptist Christians in the town of Izyum near Kharkiv.
Earlier in March, the Russian shelling of central Kharkiv damaged the 18th-century Holy Dormition Cathedral.
