No world leader has reacted to Russia announcing shelling in Ukraine - Zelenskyy

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is appalled that no world leader or Western politician has reacted to Russia’s announcement of the shelling of Ukrainian defence industry enterprises.

Quote: "Russia has officially announced the shelling of our territory and our defence sector enterprises scheduled for tomorrow. Most of those establishments were built decades ago by the Soviet government and were built in cities. Now, they are surrounded by the ordinary urban environment, thousands of people work there, and hundreds of thousands live nearby. This is murder, deliberate murder."

"I have not heard a reaction from any world leader, from any Western politician to this announcement."

"Think about the aggressors’ sense of impunity: they are letting you know of the atrocities that are planned. Why? Because there is no reaction. Because of your silence, not a single word from you, as if Western leaders had disbanded tonight, on this day."

Details: He expressed hope that, at least tomorrow, Western leaders will somehow respond to these attacks.

"The audacity of the aggressor is a clear signal to the West that sanctions against Russia are not sufficient."

"Because they [the Russian government and its supporters - ed.] didn't understand, didn't feel, didn't see that the world is really resolute, that it really wants to stop this war," Zelenskyy said.
