Russian troops fire at checkpoint in Kyiv region: 5 killed

Five people have been killed and one wounded as Russian troops opened fire at a Russian checkpoint in the Fastiv area (Kyiv region).

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs: "On 5 March around 18:00 the occupying forces fired at residents of the Yasnohorodka village in the Byshiv territorial community, probably with a machine gun.

Five people died in the attack and one more person was wounded."

Details: Police urge citizens not to endanger themselves, but to join the ranks of the territorial defence instead.
