Ukrainian Armed Forces on offensive near Mariupol

In the Mariupol sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have launched a successful counterattack and destroyed three enemy tanks, 4 military armoured personnel carriers, 2 Tigers (Russian 4x4, multipurpose, all-terrain infantry mobility vehicle – ed.), and ca. 30 troops. Two Russian soldiers were captured.

Details: The two captured Russian servicemen claimed, similarly to the other Russian POWs in Ukraine, that they "did not know where they were being sent to." One of the two captured is a Russian officer (a platoon commander). Both surrendered.

The Joint Forces Operation added that other crews operating the Russian military machinery remained inside the burning vehicles.
