One in ten hryvnia to help the Ukrainian Army and people affected by the war comes from abroad

One in ten hryvnia (UAH) received by the National Bank of Ukraine to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine and people affected by hostilities comes from abroad, says the Ministry of Social Policy.

In total, about 8 billion UAH was transferred to the accounts opened in the NBU to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine and people affected by the war, of which about 800 million UAH were transferred from abroad.

Funds are coming from citizens and businesses in Ukraine, from foreign citizens and institutions, including those in the United States, Britain, Poland, Germany, Sweden, Finland, the Czech Republic, China, France, Canada, and other countries.
