The night passed relatively calmly in most regions, but attacks by the occupiers were recorded in the Zhytomyr, Khmelnytsky, Donetsk, Kharkiv and Kyiv regions.

Details: The night was quiet in Kirovohrad region

Everything is calm in Volyn.

Kherson is relatively quiet. Mobile networks are down.

In the Zhytomyr region, there was an air raid alarm twice at night.

In Korosten, an air attack destroyed 10 houses (1 person was killed, 5 were injured, including 1 child). 5 children were rescued from a fire in the basement of a garage. There was a strike on the local train station. A locomotive, 2 electric trains and 2 passenger cars were damaged.

Ovruch - 15 family houses were destroyed. No one has been killed or injured so far.

Zaporizhzhya region: the night was relatively calm. The people of Zaporizhzhya and other towns in the region continue building fortifications to prepare for attacks.

It is calm in the Rivne region.

The night was also calm in the Vinnytsia region.

In the Khmelnytsky region, there were strikes on the airfield in Starokostiantyniv. 2 people have been wounded.

It was calm in Cherkasy and in the Lviv region.

Chernihiv had many air-raid alarms throughout the night. There was fighting on the outskirts of the city and in the direction of Kyiv.

Poltava is quiet. There were air-raid alarms in Lubny, Myrhorod, and Poltava itself in the morning.

Chernivtsi is calm.

So is Ivano-Frankivsk.

The night was relatively calm in the Luhansk region. On the afternoon of 5 March, there was heavy shelling. There is now a humanitarian catastrophe in the villages adjacent to Severodonetsk, which are cut off from the city. In Novopskov, protests were dispersed with machine-gun fire. The regional children's hospital was shelled again. On the positive side: the first load of humanitarian aid has arrived from the Chernivtsi region. The UNHCR is working on purchasing humanitarian aid for Novopskov.

Donetsk region: Mariupol is under siege. So is Volnovakha, but about 400 people were able to get out of Volnovakha and the surrounding area yesterday. Evacuation attempts will continue today. Our air defence system shot down a cruise missile over Kramatorsk last night.

The night passed quietly in Ternopil and Odesa.

Mykolaiv. Heavy shelling in the evening. All three shells hit the yards of private homes. People were killed by shelling in the village of Radisny Sad. There was also rocket shelling of other villages of the Mykolaiv area. In general, the situation is under control.

Dnipro - there was one air-raid siren at night.

In Kharkiv, there were explosions again throughout the night: the districts of Oleksiyivka, Novi Budynky, HTZ, Saltivka, 23 Serpnia, and in the centre of Kharkiv. In the Kharkiv region, Ukrainian Armed Forces went on a counterattack in several directions.

Kyiv region: there is fighting in Irpin, Hostomel, Makariv. Russian forces are moving in Bucha and the Nemyshayiv municipality. The hottest spot is still around the Zhytomyr motorway.

In Zakarpattia, the night was calm.
