Ukrtelecom restores communication in 7 regions

Ukrtelecom [landline, mobile service, and internet service provider] has restored communication in the Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Rivne, Volyn, Khmelnytsky, Lviv, and Ternopil regions, according to the firm’s press service.

"In less than 5 hours, the damaged line was restored. Our specialists worked under the protection of the Armed Forces and restored communication in 7 regions," the statement reads.

Due to infrastructure damage, there was no landline communication in the Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Rivne, Volyn, Khmelnytsky, Lviv, and Ternopil regions for some time.

"Our repair crews did everything possible and resumed services in these areas as soon as they could," Ukrtelecom said.

Ukrtelecom reiterated that the Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kherson regions remain temporarily without landline service due to infrastructure damage sustained during hostilities.

The firm’s employees are working to repair the damage.
