Russian troops bombed Zhytomyr region last night: dozens of houses in ruins, civilian casualites

Last night Russian troops carried out several missile strikes on residential buildings in the towns of Korosten and Ovruch in the Zhytomyr region (to the northwest of Kyiv). As a result, several dozen private houses have been destroyed. There are casualties among the civilian population.

Details: During the night of 5 March – early morning of 6 March Russian troops were firing on local residents’ houses in Korosten. Several of the houses are completely destroyed, others have damaged walls, roofs, windows, etc. There are civilian casualties.

Shelling resulted in an explosion in a residential building in Ovruch. According to current information, there are no victims. A missile strike on Ovruch’s residential area has destroyed 15 private houses – 5 of them completely, the Department of Emergencies reports.
