Ukrainian Railways to evacuate people from Kharkiv

Ukrzaliznytsya [Ukrainian Railways] confirms its readiness to ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid to Kharkiv and the evacuation of people from the city, according to the Ukrzaliznytsya press service.
"Kharkiv, we are with you. We have delivered more than 50 tonnes of humanitarian aid in 24 hours and are now ready to evacuate to safe places thousands of children, mothers, and people whose mobility is impaired. We are doing everything we can to enable our defenders to do their job," Ukrzaliznytsya said.
"A Skoda double-decker and 18 sleeping cars have already opened their doors to passengers, 10 more carriages are in the nearest depot; a Hyundai Rotem will be ready to board at 08:30. Trains 5426 (just passed Myronivka) and 5424 (just passed Znamyanka) are hurrying to Kharkiv.
Towards evening, 19 more carriages will be available, and more Intercity trains. The rest is on schedule," the statement said.
