Shelling by the invader in Sumy region leaves servicemen and civilians dead and wounded .

The head of the Sumy Regional State Administration, Dmytro Zhyvytskyi, has reported on the situation in the city of Sumy and the region during the past 24 hours.

According to Zhyvytskyy, the morning in the Sumy region began with a Russian air raid. The invaders inflicted pinpoint strikes on the cities of Sumy and Lebedyn.
In the town of Romny, the Russian military fired at a local petrol station and deliberately shot at the local self-defence unit.
"One Ukrainian was killed and two wounded," Zhyvytskyy said.
In the evening the Russian military, stationed in a column on the road near the village of Pustoviytivka, Romensky district, opened fire at a car with civilians. It was a taxi carrying a woman and her 17-year-old son. The taxi driver died on the spot, while the woman and her son are in hospital.
In the village of Skrypali, Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled the enemy column, the number of losses of the occupier is yet to be confirmed.
Russian occupiers continue to bomb the infrastructure and critical facilities in the Okhtyrka district.
Russian airstrikes destroyed the city's food base, building materials warehouse and a parking lot. The residential area came under fire.
Russian artillery shelled the peaceful village of Velyka Pisarivka all day. Homes and electrical network are damaged, there is no electricity in the village.
The city of Trostyanets remains occupied by Russian troops.
In one of the villages of the Trostyanets district occupied on March 5, the Russian tanks are stationed by nearly every home on the main and adjacent streets.
According to the regional state administration The Russian army has created a "human shield" from the villagers, made to protect the deployed S-300 anti-aircraft missile system.
