The Head of Mykolaiv Military Administration Vitaliy Kim warned that Tu-22 bombers could fly over the city of Mykolaiv to execute airstrikes after 19:00 on 5 March.

Background: In the afternoon of 5 March, Kim said that Ukrainian soldiers had ousted the Russian occupying forces from Mykolaiv, capturing large quantities of military equipment in the process. In addition, Ukrainian defenders captured four Russian reconnaissance personnel.
